Taj Mahal

Any visit to India would not be the same without visiting the Taj Mahal. Now the thing about the Taj is it's located in one of the grottiest cities in India called Agra. Most tour groups come in see the Taj and leave.

When I woke up I intended to see the Taj at sunset because there was no way I would wake up in time for sunrise, but I was informed by the hotel that as it's Eid the Taj is free up till 10am! That's a whopping saving of 750 RUP which is 11 quid! No queueing, just straight in. Yes I had to contend with loads of big fat American and German uncultered tourists, but aren't we all tourists?!?! plus it's free!



The bench that Princess Diana made famous. I swear people were fighting to get this shot hence the reason why people are in the picture and I have a hurry up and take the god damn picture look on my face!
