Word of warning: British need to obtain an eVisitor visa to enter Australia. I however did not know this and when I got to Malaysia I almost got refused onto the flight. As perusual when I get stressed I did my usual flapping around.
Lo and behold there is a business centre conveniently located right by the check in desks (for nupties like me who don't have the appropriate visa) where you can use the internet BUT cost 25MYR per half hour (minimum half hour) which is the equivalent of £5.50!!!!! BUT I only needed to use the computer for 5 minutes!!! After trying to haggle with the business centre to reduce the cost, I reluctantly handed over my 25MYR.
Managed to get checked in and get to the gate at 'final call'.
Note to future self: check the entry requirements into a country before you arrive at the airport!
