Bangkok

So Vicki and I went our separate ways in Bangkok as I ran out of money and needed to stay in cheaper accommodation. I managed to find a basic place called, well 'Basic Guesthouse'. Unfortunately the location is not so nice - Khao San Road, and I hang my head in shame. Khao San Road is where backpackers come to get their hair dread locked, buy drugs and party. At night it sounds like a constant rave outside of my bedroom till the early hours of the morning. If you have the slightest bit of money at all then DO NOT stay on this road or area. I have no money due to the fact that I refuse to take any money out of the ATM as each transaction costs a whopping £4 which is imposed from the Thai side. It's ridiculous!

Also, no need to take taxi's anywhere or haggle for a tuk tuk. Just take the local buses. They are so cheap and reliable 7tbh one way which is about 5p.

During my time here I stumbled upon some sort of Japanese Convention thing with lots of guys and gals dressed like Harajuka kids. Very weird.

Drugs are really not tolerated here, even if it is cheap and I saw a guy off his head on drugs get the shite kicked out of him by some Thai guys.

I also spent time checking out the temples. Word of warning: Do not, I repeat do not use temples as reference points to navigate yourself around the city! They all look exactly the same and they are on almost every street corner. I ended up getting lost and walking around for hours!
